Bobby LeCompte

Bobby earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1996 from Nicholls State University in his hometown of Thibodaux, LA.  Almost a year later, he married his super awesome wife, Melissa, and they have four fantastic children (Jude, Emma, Isaac, and Paige).  Bobby heard God calling him to full-time ministry in 2016.  He was ordained a pastor that same year and was offered his first full-time position in 2017.  Shortly afterwards, he began taking master’s degree courses at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  Eventually, God called Bobby to Skidaway Church in 2021 where he gladly serves as the Pastor of Worship and Member Care.  Outside of church, Bobby enjoys spending time with his family and friends, exercising, creating art, and photography.  He also enjoys cooking Cajun food, Italian dishes, and breakfast (in that order).
