Our Commitment to Your Little Ones
Skidaway Kids Nursery and Preschool provides a sweet, gentle ministry for our newborn through K4-aged children. Our mission in to give children a lasting impression of God. During the Worship Service and the Sunday school Hour, Children will have a Bible lesson, snack, and play time while in the Nursery and Preschool area. The basic truths we reinforce each week are God loves me, God made me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever!

Weekly Schedule
Sundays
- 9:15 AM – 10:30 AM: Nursery care available during morning Worship.
- 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Nursery care available during Bible Study.
Wednesdays
- 6:15 PM – 7:30 PM: Nursery care available during breakout groups and prayer meeting.

Important Information for Visitors & Policies
To help us protect and care for your children, please observe the following guidelines:
Check In/Out
Please check your child in using the sign-in sheet located at the nursery.
Diaper Bag
Leave a diaper bag with appropriate items for your child, including spare diapers, clothes, bottles, pacifiers, and snacks.
Specific Instructions
If your child has specific needs or instructions, please fill out our instructions form for volunteers to reference. This helps our team provide the best personalized care.
Wellness Policy
For the health and wellness of all children and our volunteers, we kindly ask that children who have shown signs of the flu or other contagious illnesses be symptom and fever-free for 24 hours before using the nursery.

Hi, I’m
April Brown
Director of Children & Administration
April Brown grew up in Florida and moved to Savannah in 2016. She holds a Doctorate and Masters of Education in Christian Education from Newburgh Seminary and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Valdosta State University. At Skidaway Church, April serves as Director of Children’s Ministry and enjoys seeing children grow in their faith in Christ. She has two amazing college aged children that are the joys of her life. In her free time, April enjoys reading, music, and horseback riding with her family.

Child Protection Policy
Skidaway Church is committed to protecting infants, preschoolers, children, and youth from sexual, emotional, and physical abuse. Skidaway Church has a zero tolerance policy prohibiting any act of sexual, emotional, or physical abuse. The zero tolerance policy requires of all Skidaway Church employees and volunteers the immediate reporting to the Skidaway Church Student Pastor of any occurrence or suspected occurrence of any abuse.

Well Child Policy
Our volunteers strive to provide a clean, healthy, and nurturing environment for your children. We strive to be sensitive to and make provisions for the healthcare concerns of all children and their families.
We want to prevent the spread of illness, and to provide a safe, healthy environment for all our children and volunteers. We ask that you keep your child home any time she or he exhibits any symptoms of the flu, or any transmittable illness at any time during the 24 hours prior to coming to church.
Once your child is symptom freefor a minimum of 24 hours without medication, they may return to church activities.
