Why We Go
Our Missions Ministry exists to SEND the church out into the world to fulfill the Great Commission, as commanded in Matthew 28:19-20: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” We strive to serve both locally in our city and globally to fulfill our calling to reach the nations with the gospel.

How We Serve
Local Partnerships
We serve our city by partnering with ministries that provide practical help and spiritual care. Together, we support those experiencing homelessness, unplanned pregnancies, incarceration, and resettlement as refugees.
Refugee Ministry
Skidaway Church’s refugee ministry supports over 90 resettled refugees currently living in Savannah with essentials.
Kairos Prison Ministry
A men’s group from Skidaway Church trains and ministers in the Savannah prison, providing hope and forgiveness. This ministry facilitates spiritual growth for incarcerated individuals through retreats and ongoing support.
Savannah Care Center
The Savannah Care Center provides compassionate support for unplanned pregnancies, offering counseling, medical services, and educational resources. Many Skidaway Church members volunteer at the center.
Thrive Savannah
Thrive offers comprehensive support to individuals and families facing unplanned pregnancies. Skidaway Church provides both financial support and volunteers from many of its families for this ministry.
Savannah Baptist Center
The Savannah Baptist Center offers food, clothing, and counseling to those in need. Skidaway Church partners by supplying basic essentials for the homeless and providing a monthly warm meal.
Global Partnerships
We also join in God’s work worldwide by funding and serving alongside global mission organizations. Through financial support and sending teams, we help share the gospel and meet needs around the world.

Skidaway Church cooperates with the SBC to fund the International Mission Board, the world’s largest mission-sending organization, which shares the Gospel and addresses global community needs.
